Sorry if such a basic question but i know little about mitsubishi diagnostics/programming.
My daughter just bought a 2006 Mitsubishi Colt CZ3 but the remote key fob doesnt work

The mitsubishi dealer was not helpful and basically said go to an autolocksmith.
The locksmith want 150e for a new remote keyfob with remote opening/starting and 90e for a key with manual opening/starting
It is possible to buy replacement keys and recode to the vehicle ?
Ive only seen basic keys on ebay/aliexpress
I found a guy on ebay who will cut a key from a picture but it would needs some programming of its id46 chip to start the car.

If anyone has some pointers on how to buy & code keys for a 2006 Mitsubishi Colt above id appreciate it.

Besides the keys id like to be able to perform proper diagnostics on the car when i need to.

I have used Lexia(Peugeot) and INPA/Rheingold(BMW) before so im somewhat familiar with the concepts

I also have a K+DCAN cable for INPA use, is it possble to use this cable with some mitsubishi software (mut) on laptop ?

Sorry if all a bit basic but id appreciate someones direction on what i need and dont need to diagnose (and maybe code keys)

First try to replace battery in key.
If you want new key - take new (necessarily) one from aliexpress as example and program it with MUT-3.

Thanks, battery was replaced, imcroswitches look ok but i have not measured them yet.

Aliexpress seems to only have key case & microswitches, not a full key with remote

Hi i have scanmatic 2 pro, i want to use mitsubishi mut 3 PRE20011-00.

Im new to mitsubishis so i have some questions

For the moment i just want to be able to read/erase dtcs and also reset the DPF FULL soot light blinking on a mitsubishi montero sport 2011 3.2 Diesel ( The dpf was cleaned and a new dpf sensor was installed) but cant tell the car to resets dpf soot level or erase dtc with multibrand scanners.

I saw there are 3 drivers versionsn for the moment just to read/erase dtcs, and special function to tell the car it has a new dpf, or reset dpf soot levels which version do i need. ?

Would the 2 option driver 60 usd work for this purpose ?

Also if i later i purchase the 3 option driver will i have a discount if i already purchased driver 2 ?

Also on the option 3, dont i need additional immo codes or something to program new keys ?
