Shogun/Pajero Add Key

Does anyone know if a Shogun V6/v7 needs 2 key's registered in the immobilizer to start the vehicle?
And when ever I search inside Mut 3 for information on a particular error code I get the error message (vehicle not registered) ? Why is this happening
