Simple will work for engine/transmission/possible ABS. See schematics diagram. All ECUs on CAN-bus (6,14 pin OBD) will work with simple, other needs full version and original tactrix.

Can you elabolarate more about ABS support? Does "possible" means it may require "full" version, or it may fail due to limitation in any version.

See schematic diagram. If abs use pin 7 in obd means need to use full driver version. If 6 and 14 simple is enough.

Hi, I just purchased the full driver version, trying to communicate with a 2002 Galant V6. Engine ECU works fine, Immo works too. No 4AT, no ABS, no SRS, no AC, no cruise. No difference between MUT-III and MUT-III SE.

I traced through all schematics and came to this pinout of the OBD2-Connector:

1: Engine, 4AT, ABS, AC, Immo
4: GND
5: GND
7: Engine, 4AT, ABS, SRS, Immo
11: AC
13: Cruise
14: Cruise
16: +12V

OK, I understand Cruise and AC won't work, because they're not on Pin 7, correct?
What about 4AT, ABS and SRS? They are all on Pin 7 and Pin 1. Does that mean I have to ground Pin 1 for them to go into diagnostics mode? Or does my tactrix openport 2.0 clone do that for me?

Not sure about clone. Short to ground manually.

Was just about to try shorting Pin 1 to ground, openport 2.0 clone just died. won't light up anymore. seems to happen a lot. Oh well, time to buy a real one....

I received my original Tactrix Openport 2.0 today. ABS and 4AT are now working. SRS isn't but I can live with that. These clones are really garbage, they don't work fully and if you install a current driver, they will brick themselves. After confronting the seller, that he's selling inferior fakes, his answer was "They aren't fake! They are just not original..." I can only warn the other users, avoid this junk at all costs!
