0x22 - conditions not correct when trying to write multiple custom codes

Post by victoralencar » 28 Mar 2025, 20:46

I'm trying to enable codes like "14 - Auto Door Lock By Vehicle Speed", "16 - Auto Door Unlock", "48 - Eco Mode" on the Custom tab, but all of them tell me the 0x22 - conditionsNotCorrect error when trying to write. I've tried some other custom codes as well, and nothing under the Custom codes works. Variant codes are written successfully. I'm not sure exactly which conditions needs to be met in order for writing those custom ones

Some relevant information:

Vehicle:
Outlander (GF4W) 2014 with 6B31 engine (3.0 V6 MIVEC)

ETACS Info:
Description: ETACS
Diag version: 4
Supplier: Lear
P/N: 8637A864

I'm using the Toyota Mini VCI J2534 cable with the MMCodingWriter 2.3 and the XHorse - MVCI driver.

Any help is much appreciated! thanks

Attach your "new" files and original files (codings - .kon, .cuf) to the message or send them to the mail - barkl@mail.ru

Hi Barkl!

I just sent you the e-mail with the files. The forum doesn't allow me to upload .cuf and .kon files.

Thanks!
Victor.

You are making a coding error. I will explain with an example - "automatic door lock/unlock".
1. VARIANT CODING: change the function "Auto door lock/unlock", Disable --> Enable.
2. Write the VARIANT CODING, turn off and turn on the ignition again.
3. CUSTOM CODING, change the settings responsible for locking and unlocking the doors.
4. Write the CUSTOM CODING, turn off and turn on the ignition again.

You did not complete step 1 and immediately proceeded to step 3 and received an error. The screenshot shows a comparison of your files, the original and the modified one.

Hi Barkl.

I tried to do as you suggested, however there's no option "Auto door lock/unlock" on the VARIANT editor. That's strange because I really remember seeing that option while checking some Youtube videos of ETACS configs. The item 118 on my variant tab is called "Turn Signal Bulb". In the following attachment you can see the items ordered by number, which shows that there's no corresponding item for the auto door lock/unlock

And also, I did order all VARIANT items by name, so you can double check it:

What I do have is the following items related to door locking/unlocking, but all of them are on the CUSTOM tab:

Auto door unlock - Disabled/Always enabled by shift P position/Enabled by shift P position when P/W is unlocked/Always enabled by ignition lock position/Enabled by ignition lock position when P/W is unlocked/Cannot select

Door unlock mode - All doors unlock/Dr door unlock/Cannot select

Power door unlock by knob - All doors unlock/Dr door unlock/Cannot select

Auto door lock by vehicle speed - Disable/Enable/Cannot select

Here's a detailed video showing the connection to the car and all of my configs: https://youtube.com/shorts/TVMbWjoND7c? ... 11Tpyo75r1
